Shipping
We are a small dedicated manufacturer based in a workshop in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. We do not have a massive team of customer services and huge warehouses full of stock so please be patient with us as we grow. We Love the Corby and we think you will to
We try to hold a small amount of stock but that depends on demand. If we have finished and packaged stock then we can ship your order in 1-2 days and you should receive your item in the next couple of business days. If we have parts but are part assembling then packaging then the shipping may be a little longer. But all orders will be delivered within 28 days of purchase.
If we don’t have any stock then we are reliant on deliveries of all the components and for our superhero carpenters to craft your Corby ( as they are all made lovingly by hand). If you cannot place an order, we are out of stock that means we are awaiting deliveries that are out of our control, but you are welcome to contact us and someone can give you an idea of expected timing.
Delivery
The Corby’s are quite heavy so they do need to be shipped by freight rather than by smaller delivery vans. This is normally business day service and they don’t give tight windows, we will pass across as much information as we are given. You are more than welcome to pop in to collect your Corby but this is by appointment only, so there is someone to help you on site.
The Corby is solidly built and very robust. It is also quite heavy so please try and ensure at least two people are available to move it to wherever you are going to place it.
Packaging
We have tried as much as possibly to keep the packaging light to reduce our impact on the environment but it was important for shipping to keep the package as small and contained as possible. If you are missing any parts or anything is damaged on delivery please let us know as soon as possible so we can help rectify this.
The Corby comes part assembled to keep shipping costs down ( they are double if shipped assembled !!) Assembly is quite straight forward but if you get stuck or something goes wrong let us know and we should be able to help get it ready.
Returns
We want you to be very happy with your Corby and love it as much as we do. If you are not happy in any way, please let us know how we can help.
Sometimes accidents happen in shipping, manufacturing or setting up and most of the parts can easily be replaced.
You are welcome to return it with no reason within 30 days of receipt of your purchase, as long as it is in the same condition you received it at your expense. This does not apply if you had any bespoke fittings or sizing but call us and we can discuss.
When returning any product, you will need to contact us and we will provide an returns number and address, before making the return.
