Our Story

Blame it on my dog!

He is an adorable labradoodle who loves playing in mud. If there is one small puddle in a field he will find it, sit down and look at me.

Our walks are great and he has lots of fun, but when we get home, I have to clean him before letting him indoors. I had to kneel down in the wet trying to clean him with a spray can and towel with one hand whilst holding him with the other. This is fine every so often but twice a day during the wet season just did my head in! So, I knew there must be a better way.

Let's not talk about the bath wash! Obviously, we take bluey to the groomers, and they are amazing, but they don't really want a dirty dog, they are not really set up for daily cleans and the cost!!!! So, we have been using the shower and the bath. Bluey is not a large dog but picking him up and getting him into the bath is not fun for anyone in the house. By the time we have finished my back hurt, there is water and dog hair everywhere and a dog running around doing the zoomies.

Of course, I realise that there are other dog washing platforms, for example for groomers, but these are mainly for indoors, and I did not want a clinical aluminium and steel outside my house.

I had to come up with a solution !

I tried wood, metal, plastic moulding and eventually recycled plastic.

Our initial prototype I used most of last year and it was a game changer, and due to the interest from fellow dog walkers I started improving on it.

We have built a few models to create a product that is practical, reasonably priced, looks good and will last. Most importantly it works great.

Its been a total game changer !! I return from a walk and bluey trots straight up the ramp, either for a quick foot wash, complete body wash or a  total clean with shampoo. Normally the whole process takes a few minutes, no fuss, no dirt or hairs anywhere and a happy relaxed dog and owner. Dirty water goes out of the waste through a hose and directly to the drain. I may be a bit biased but it is awesome.

My dog, Bluey, loves it. I love it because it is so easy. My wife loves it because no more damp muddy towels in the house and no more dog hairs in the bath. And, it looks great in front of my house.

I hope you love it as well
